Originalidad/valor: El enfoque teórico y la aproximación práctica al fenómeno son nuevos en el estudio del tema. Se presenta un modelo de la práctica informacional que describe todos estos elementos. Factores personales como las comprensiones generales, los valores y la visión de mundo son los que más inciden sobre la práctica, por encima de factores sociodemográficos. Los testimonios de los aficionados permiten afirmar que la práctica informacional es un todo coherente, todas las actividades conectadas entre sí e integradas al estilo de vida de cada persona.
Hallazgos: Los estudios encontrados en la literatura sugieren que hasta el momento no se ha explorado el comportamiento informacional musical de una manera integral, sino cada actividad por separado. Los datos recolectados fueron analizados deductivamente a partir de las categorías halladas en los referentes conceptuales, y comparándolos con una revisión de 50 estudios previos hallados en la literatura. Se llevaron a cabo entrevistas a profundidad y observaciones con 18 aficionados a la música, 9 de música tango, 9 de música metal. Propósito: La presente investigación tiene como objetivo comprender las prácticas informacionales de los aficionados a la música, en particular aficionados al tango y al metal en la ciudad de Medellín.ĭiseño/metodología/enfoque: Basado en tres referentes conceptuales, la teoría de la práctica social, la perspectiva del ocio serio y el modelo de transferencia de la información, se diseñó un estudio de enfoque cualitativo, con alcance exploratorio y descriptivo. The findings are an original and novel description upon which it is posible to conduct further studies. Originality/value: This study proposes a new theoretical and practical approach to the subject. A model for information practice is presented that describes all these elements. Personal factors sucha as general understandings, values and world view are the ones that have greater incidence upon the practice, more so tan sociodemographic factors. The statements gathered from fans allow us to assert that an information practice is a coherent whole, all its activities are connected to each other and integrated with each person‟s lifestyle.
